Day 1: Departure from Howrah

Leave for Howrah, at 15:50: board 12345 Saraighat Express from Howrah Junction for Guwahati. Overnight journey on the train.

Day 2: Guwahati

10:05: Arrive at Guwahati Railway Station. Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Guwahati to Shillong. In the afternoon, check-in at your hotel and spend the evening exploring the bustling Police Bazar, the vibrant heart of Shillong. Night Stay: Shillong.

Day 3: Explore Shillong

After breakfast, discover Shillong’s charm, with a full day of sightseeing like Ward’s Lake, Lady Hyderi Park, Don Bosco Museum, and in the afternoon after lunch head to Shillong Peak for panoramic views and visit Elephant Falls for refreshing nature experience, that captures the essence of the “Scotland of the East. Day 4: Shillong to Cherapunji (Sohra)

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (approx. 2 hours), the land of waterfalls and caves. Day 5: Shillong to Dawki and Mawlynnong

After breakfast, drive to Dawki (approx. 3 hours) to witness the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Opt for a boat ride to experience its unparalleled beauty. Day 6: Shillong to Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple)
